Abstract
This research article seeks to contribute to the analysis and design of proposals for the improvement of our penitentiary system, which has been overcome in different areas that prevent it from achieving its objectives of a positive and effective social reintegration.
All this with a greater focus and more specifically towards the State of Mexico, being this the entity with the largest number of inhabitants in the country, as well as the state with the largest prison system due to its infrastructure and prison population
