Abstract
The pink salary is an initiative that was generated as a social policy in the State of Mexico aimed at addressing gender inequality in the workplace and promoting equal pay between men and women.
This Program is giving good results, benefiting women with monetary aid and with the provision of courses in order to promote self-employment for housewives, generate extra income for the home and thereby improve their economy and quality of life, and allowing the government through these public policies to guarantee a better state of well-being for its population.
