Las tareas editoriales que se desarrollan en torno a la publicación de una revista académica involucran a múltiples actores: autores, editores, comités editoriales, revisores, correctores y la institución que la arropa. Si cada uno de ellos lleva a cabo sus tareas apegándose a un código de ética, se tendrá la confianza en que el producto final alcanzará elevados estándares de calidad, debido a que dicho código se traduce en buenas prácticas editoriales. Los lineamientos que ofrecemos a continuación se retomaron de las guías del Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Publication Ethics Statement

The editorial processes involved in the publication of an academic journal require the participation of multiple stakeholders, including authors, editors, editorial boards, reviewers, copy editors, and the institution that supports the journal. When each of these participants performs their responsibilities in accordance with established ethical principles, confidence is fostered that the final publication will achieve the highest standards of quality, integrity, and academic rigor.

The ethical guidelines presented below are based on the principles and best practices developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
