CONSTITUTIONAL RESTRICTIONS. IMPOSSIBILITY OF MEXI-CAN JUDGES TO EXERCISE CONVENTIONALITY CONTROL IN ORDER TO COMPLY WITH THE SENTENCES OF THE INTER-AMERICAN COURT OF HUMAN RIGHTS

Abstract

This article explain the legal situation that prevents mexican judges to obey the condemnatory sentence by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights on constitutional restrictions. Thus, it is explained how the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation has denied the Judiciary the possibility of enforcing these international rulings by not interrupting the jurisprudence that obliges them to privilege restrictions on human rights despite the issuance of international sentences proscribing such limitations.
