Abstract
The article examines how open government has influenced governance efficiency in Mexico. First, it defines the concept and policies of open government, followed by an evaluation of governance prior to its implementation. It then analyzes the im-provements and challenges observed after the adoption of open government, and concludes with future perspectives and recommendations for optimizing govern-ance efficiency in the country.
