Abstract
Two global hegemons fight for dominance of trade and the economic resources of countries worldwide: The United States of America and the People's Republic of China. Mexico is not only coveted for its dynamic trade and natural resources but is also considered the icing on the cake for its geographic proximity to the United States of America. Our country, unlike the other countries in Latin America, has extensive experience in the management of International Treaties and if Mexico were to sign any memorandum with China for taking part in the “Belt and Road Initiative” or in the BRICS emerging countries group, it would be an unforgivable setback for the simple fact that we have already been able to negotiate with an economic and military giant such as the United States of America. Unlike what has happened with a large part of Latin America, which in their desperation to obtain economic resources for the implementation of necessary infrastructure within their countries, have accepted the dangerous and unclear informal economic conditions of the Asian Dragon
