Abstract
In this article, from a multidisciplinary legal approach, emotional education is proposed as a human right, based on two fundamental arguments: first, defining education as a right from a comprehensive perspective, and second, recognizing emotional intelligence as a skill that can be developed and its importance for life. The methodology used is based on a theoretical and normative analysis, reviewing the laws and legal principles that support the right to education, and arguing that the inclusion of emotional education is aligned with the fundamental rights of individuals.
The objective of the article is to demonstrate that emotional education is not only crucial for personal and professional development, but should also be considered an essential component within the right to education, from a legal perspective.
Regarding the results, the article concludes that emotional education has a significant impact on the success of individuals in various aspects of their lives. Furthermore, he points out that the lack of this training could be seen as a limitation of people's educational rights. Therefore, it is concluded that emotional education must be considered an integral part of the educational system, in accordance with the human right to education.
